The Setka Cup table tennis tournament organizer, Beter, has expanded its operations to new locations in Slovakia, Moldova, and the Czech Republic. This decision comes after the conflict in Ukraine compelled them to move from their traditional base.

Beter states that this move is “part of their strategy to guarantee the stability of their events and services for the industry.”

The inaugural new venue is situated in Nitra, Slovakia, and will host more than 50 players in over 450 matches each month.

Two additional venues have been established in Moldova, adding 1,800 matches to the Setka Cup schedule every month.

Beter has also inaugurated two new locations in the Czech Republic, which will host over 1,600 matches each month.

Beter is one of numerous businesses that have been affected by the war in Ukraine. CEO Gal Ehrlich informed iGB that they began preparing for the worst-case scenario two months prior to the commencement of the conflict.
