## Scientific Games Digital Appoints New HR Leader

Scientific Games, a prominent player in the gaming sector, has brought on Laura Probert as their new Chief Human Resources Officer for their digital branch. Probert, who previously held a position at advertising behemoth WPP, will be in charge of all HR functions for the digital business.

Probert will report directly to Jordan Levin, the CEO of Scientific Games Digital, and Eileen Moore Johnson, the company’s global HR leader. She is recognized for her impressive history of crafting successful talent strategies and is particularly enthusiastic about diversity and inclusion initiatives.

Prior to joining Scientific Games, Probert held several pivotal roles at Bwin.Party Digital Entertainment, a major online gambling enterprise, for close to a decade. Her most recent position was as Global Head of Employee and Organizational Development, where she oversaw performance management, employer branding, and employee value proposition.

Jordan Levin, CEO of Scientific Games Digital, stated, “Laura brings a wealth of experience in managing human resources, having worked with some of the world’s most prominent brands. She will be a valuable addition to our team.”

The well-being of our workforce, who are constantly pushing the limits of our technology and products, is among our top priorities. Laura brings a wealth of experience to this field and is committed to making diversity, inclusion, and employee performance core to our business strategy.

Probert added, regarding her new position: “I’m delighted to join the digital team at Scientific Games. The company has a strong reputation in the wagering and gaming industry, and I’m excited to collaborate with such a talented and innovative group of individuals.”

Results released earlier this month revealed that Scientific Games saw its income decrease by 18.4% year-on-year in the third quarter of 2020. This was due to a sharp decline in its gaming segment, despite growth in its lottery, digital, and social gaming division SciPlay.

Income for the three months ending September 30 fell to $698 million (£535.8 million/€594.1 million). However, this was a 29.5% increase from the second quarter, during which the supplier was severely impacted by the coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic.
