Betano Becomes Aston Villa’s New Jersey Sponsor

Betano, a brand under the ownership of Kaizen Gaming, has been declared as Aston Villa’s new primary associate, becoming the club’s jersey sponsor.

This is Betano’s most recent move in the UK, following the company’s declaration of sponsorships for the 2024 European Championship and the 2024 Copa America, both of which are scheduled to commence in June.

Betano’s emblem will be showcased on Aston Villa’s uniforms for the 2024-25 season, as part of a two-year agreement.

Aston Villa, currently holding fourth place in the Premier League and in the semi-finals of the UEFA Conference League, has welcomed the collaboration.

Chris Heck, Aston Villa’s President of Business Operations, lauded the deal’s potential.

“Aston Villa and Betano are both dedicated to striving for excellence,” Heck stated. “We anticipate achieving great success together, both on and off the field. This partnership marks an exciting chapter for both our organizations.”

George Daskalakis, Founder and CEO of Kaizen Gaming, added, “Aston Villa’s remarkable achievements in the Premier League and return to European football mirror Betano’s own growth and continued accomplishments.”

The agreement between Betano and Aston Villa strengthens its standing in the UK market.

Betano is poised to make a significant impact in the United Kingdom! They’ve joined forces with Aston Villa for a substantial sponsorship agreement, which will come to fruition through a collaboration between Kaizen Gaming and BVGroup.

Betano is targeting a UK launch before the 2024 European Championship, scheduled to take place in Germany. They’ve already established a presence in Europe, Africa, and the Americas.

Kaizen’s head honcho, Julio Iglesias Hernando, remarked, “Entering the UK market is a formidable challenge. It’s akin to competing in the Premier League! You need the right allies. We selected BVGroup because they’re top-tier. We’re confident this partnership will be a success.”

However, a new regulation is on the horizon in 2026. Premier League teams will no longer be permitted to display betting companies on the front of their jerseys. But until that time, teams like Aston Villa can still have betting sponsors.

Last June, Villa inked a deal with BK8, which sparked some debate among their supporters.

Aston Villa fans’ support organization condemned the action as a “last-minute ploy” intended to reap financial gains from betting sponsorships, while overlooking the potentially devastating effects of gambling addiction.
