ASEAN Gaming Summit 2023 Marks Resurgence of the Gaming Industry

The 2023 Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Gaming Conference concluded in Manila, Philippines, attracting an unprecedented number of participants. This year, close to 1,300 individuals convened for the three-day gathering orchestrated by Asia Gaming Brief, underscoring the industry’s vigorous comeback.

Attendees arrived from every corner of the world, representing a genuinely global assembly. Regions such as Macau, Armenia, Australia, Cambodia, Cyprus, the UAE, India, Germany, the UK, Indonesia, Japan, South Korea, Malta, Ukraine, Vietnam, and Singapore were all in attendance.

Amplifying the enthusiasm, the conference debuted an exhibition space for the first time. This novel addition displayed state-of-the-art technology and industry directions from numerous gaming enterprises. GamingPe, Hann Resorts, Angel Singapore, Naga Games, and BetConstruct were among the prominent exhibitors who lent their support to this endeavor.

The conference also enjoyed the steadfast backing of the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR). Alejandro H. Tengco, the organization’s recently appointed Chairman and CEO, delivered a principal address at the commencement ceremony.

Daesik Han, Chief Executive Officer of Hann Resorts, provided another noteworthy moment as a principal speaker. He shared perspectives on the company’s trajectory and ambitious goals for upcoming growth.

This ASEAN Gaming Summit reached unprecedented heights this year, a testament to the gaming sector’s remarkable resurgence following the pandemic,” remarked Luis Pereira, Managing Director at Asia Gaming Brief. Pereira stressed the pivotal role of industry backing, particularly from PAGCOR (Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation).
