SiGMA Europe 2023: A Triumphant Return to Malta

The 2023 SiGMA Europe conference in Malta was a resounding triumph! More than 25,000 participants encountered a flurry of networking functions, illuminating presentations, roundtable dialogues, and the palpable energy of a flourishing sector.

We are here to transform how the sector approaches security.”

**Combat Sports Take the Lead at the Nightclub**

SiGMA’s signature gatherings shared the limelight with the dynamic spirit of CFC16, presented at the “Moulin Rouge”-themed Cabaret Club. This mixed martial arts spectacle, spearheaded by the celebrated Roberto Gallo, provided SiGMA participants with a ringside view of the Centurion Fight Series’ intensity. The evening buzzed with excitement, reaching its peak with two main event face-offs. The initial bout saw Rafael Carvalho emerge triumphant over Marcelo Alfaia, securing the Light Heavyweight Championship title. The atmosphere hit a fever pitch with a four-competitor tournament, where Felipe Douglas dominated the field, achieving consecutive victories and ultimately being crowned “Monarch of Malta” at the exhilarating Takali Basketball Pavilion.
