The Cordish Gaming Group is pleased to reveal that Jamie Williams will be the Sales Director for their newest flagship establishment in Louisiana, Live! Casino & Hotel. Poised to be a premier location in the Shreveport-Bossier area, this $270 million development is slated to debut in early 2025.
Williams will be instrumental in crafting and executing strategic sales and marketing initiatives for both the hotel and its remarkable 25,000 square-foot event space. This cutting-edge venue is already securing reservations for gatherings and functions, featuring an expansive ballroom, separate meeting areas, a pre-function zone, a boardroom, and even a performance platform, all outfitted with advanced audiovisual equipment.
This endeavor represents a major achievement as the first land-based casino in the Shreveport-Bossier region and the first Live! branded hotel in Louisiana. Construction commenced in December 2023 at the location of the former Diamond Jacks Casino & Hotel.
In addition to its entertainment offerings, the project is anticipated to yield $35 million in gaming tax income for Bossier City and $168 million for the state of Louisiana within its initial five years of activity. Moreover, it is projected to create approximately 750 construction positions and 750 permanent positions, significantly bolstering the local economy.

Casino & Hotel Louisiana is poised to be a premier entertainment locale, showcasing a 47,000 square-foot gaming area with more than 1,000 slot machines, electronic table games, live-action table games, and a designated sportsbook.
