Betway has inked a deal to become the newest tennis tournament backer for the European Open.

The prominent sportsbook is adding Belgium’s sole ATP competition to its robust sponsorship roster, joining a distinguished group of tennis tournaments.

“We are thrilled to reveal our collaboration with the European Open, Belgium’s only ATP tournament,” remarked Anthony Werkman, Chief Executive Officer of Betway. “This event, though still young, already boasts an impressive lineup of former titleholders.”

“We are eager to support the tournament’s development into a premier event on the ATP Tour.”

Betway supports numerous major tennis tournaments, including the Generali Open, the Miami Open, and the Mercedes Cup, and has already secured several sponsorship agreements this year.

In May 2021, the company disclosed it had reached an agreement to become the official wagering associate of the Nordea Open in Sweden.

Just thirty days later, Betway issued a media statement declaring its backing of the Hamburg Open.

Betway trusts this recent agreement will showcase its continued dedication to sponsoring elite athletic competitions.

Since the competition’s launch in 2016, we’ve been dedicated to improving every facet, crafting an exceptional encounter for spectators and boosting worth for our backers,” shared Juan de Dios Aguirre, a Partner at Tennium, the organization managing the European Open. “We’re delighted to collaborate with a business that is a pioneer in its sector and functions with top-tier benchmarks.”

The Antwerp hard-court competition, occurring from October 19th to 25th, will showcase a renowned roster of past victors, such as Andy Murray, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, and Kyle Edmund, all contending for the championship over six days of captivating tennis.
