1×2 Network, a developer of gaming software already authorized in the UK and Romania, has been granted a license by the Swedish Gambling Authority (SGA). This enables them to commence offering their products in Sweden’s thriving iGaming sector.

Chief Executive Officer Kevin Reid conveyed his enthusiasm, remarking that this authorization will propel their ambition of becoming a top provider within regulated iGaming markets. They are keen to collaborate with leading operators in Sweden.

This announcement follows closely on Hacksaw Gaming also obtaining a Swedish B2B gaming license. Marcus Cordes, Chief Executive of Hacksaw Gaming, emphasized the importance of being among the initial recipients of this license, affording them a strategic advantage in this rapidly growing market.

In a noteworthy move, the SGA has revealed new protocols to oversee providers discreetly. This encompasses the capacity to participate in wagering covertly, facilitating more comprehensive supervision of gaming enterprises.

Swedens administration is taking a stricter stance on unlawful wagering. They are revising their gaming regulations to enhance security and equity for all. A significant alteration? Gaming enterprises will now be obligated to collaborate directly with law enforcement to combat illicit actions. This entails exchanging data and assisting with inquiries.
