The Los Angeles-based Angel City Football Club (ACFC) has joined forces with Yaamava’ Resort & Casino at San Manuel, designating the casino as the team’s official gaming partner. This alliance transcends a standard sponsorship arrangement; it centers on empowering adolescents in Southern California’s Inland Empire. Collaboratively, they will initiate a series of soccer camps and instructional sessions aimed at fostering both athletic abilities and individual development.

At the core of this partnership lies the “City of Angels” philanthropic commitment. This endeavor guarantees that for every partner ACFC welcomes, a substantial contribution is directed back to the Inland Empire community. Commencing with the club’s debut season in 2022, the accord includes extending an invitation to a local youth soccer squad from the Inland Empire to attend an ACFC match as esteemed guests.

Moreover, ACFC’s community-based coaching initiative will conduct soccer training sessions in San Bernardino for 150 young athletes between the ages of 7 and 14. The emphasis will be on delivering a comprehensive experience for all attendees, merging high-caliber instruction with valuable life skills.

Rikki Tanenbaum, Chief Executive Officer of the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians, conveyed her excitement regarding the partnership, remarking: “Yaamava’ Resort & Casino is delighted to unveil our partnership with Angel City Football Club. The Tribe is committed to collaborating with entities that align with our principles, and ACFC’s dedication to bolstering our Southern California community through youth empowerment and inclusivity profoundly resonated with us.”

Jessica Smith, the top revenue executive for the Angel City Football Club, expressed enthusiasm about the new collaboration with Yamaha. “Having them join us as an originating partner is a major victory,” she stated. Smith highlighted that Angel City is committed to having a positive impact in Los Angeles and further afield. The alliance with Yamaha will enable them to broaden their community engagement, especially their soccer programs for young people, into the Inland Empire.
