The third yearly AffiliateCon Sofia, initially planned for May 12-13 in Sofia, Bulgaria, has been deferred to the corresponding dates in 2021 owing to the COVID-19 epidemic.

With Bulgaria proclaiming a state of crisis last Friday that will persist through April, numerous firms in the iGaming and affiliate marketing industries have also commenced issuing travel restrictions for their staff.

AffiliateCon originator Julian Perry stated that following two years of preparation, this year’s gathering was poised to truly solidify AffiliateCon as a pivotal event for the iGaming sector, with a multitude of brands already pledged and hundreds of affiliates already enrolled.

Considering that the coronavirus outbreak has now been designated a global pandemic, delaying the event was the sole prudent course of action.

Nevertheless, affiliates will still have the opportunity to listen to some of the speakers already confirmed for this year’s event through a sequence of online discussions. AffiliateCon will conduct a virtual conference on May 12, 2020, with further particulars to be revealed shortly.

The AffiliateCon group expresses regret for any disruptions caused and is dedicated to making next year’s exhibition grander and superior than ever before.
